Almond oil

Sweet almond oil is obtained from the almonds of the Prunus Amygdalus Dulcis plant. It is a highly appreciated oil from a nutritional point of view and for its emollient and moisturizing properties on the skin and hair. The significant presence of polyunsaturated (oleic, linoleic, stearic, palmitic) and unsaturated fatty acids, accompanied by a high content of Vitamin E and mineral salts, makes this oil a concentrate of nourishment. Due to these peculiarities and its rapid absorption, it is the most used vegetable oil in the cosmetic industry where it is included in many preparations such as creams, lotions and oils. It is used to prevent skin aging and for the treatment of wrinkles thanks to the high presence of antioxidants, it acts as a real anti-aging elixir.
