Surfactants from coconut

The surfactant from coconut is 100% natural and appears in the ingredients list with the name INCI Sodium coco sulfate. It is used in the preparation of shower gel, shampoo, face and hand cleansers. It has an excellent washing and foaming power, however it is much more delicate and less aggressive than surfactants such as SLS (Sodium lauryl sulfate) and SLES (Sodium lauryl ether sulfate) which tend to impoverish the natural hydrolipidic film. Inserted in the shampoo formulations, it allows an accurate washing of the hair and scalp thanks to its easy spreadability. It is also ideal because its high washing and foaming power does not weigh down the hair.
