Vitamin E
Vitamin E, which is lipophilic in nature, is made up of a group of components called tocopherols and is found mainly in cold-pressed vegetable oils and all raw whole seeds. This important vitamin is used as an active ingredient in cosmetic formulations for its ability to counteract the action of free radicals on the skin and slow down cellular aging. Its properties make it essential in the treatment of skin aging as it prevents the formation of wrinkles and skin dehydration by increasing the firmness of the skin and its elasticity.
